Jamie Mason writes fantasy, horror and speculative fiction stories about ordinary people navigating dangerous worlds. Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, now based in Calgary, Alberta, her writing is a blend of rural and urban, with a focus on transformation, treacherous curiosity, and the trauma of survival.She holds a B.Ed. and B.A. in English from the University of Regina and completed Creative Writing and Memoir specializations through Wesleyan University online. Jamie is the co-founder of Rawry & Pohly, a mixed media art collective she runs with her husband, Kevin Chow. When not creating, she enjoys badminton, card games, video games, and her five birds.
